As a right handed batsman,he made his odi debut against England at Belfast, Jun 13, 2006 and went on to score 35 of 48 balls. not a bad start at all!

Batting Average in ODI : 33.20 in 64 matches played and at the strike rate of 81.33 with the best of 142 against Kenya, which is quite impressive

Batting Average in T-20: 10.75 in 17 matches,with the best of 39 not out and at the strike rate of 105.73
