Atlast Some Power Hitting!!

Today, for the first time in three years , i got a opportunity to play a match with bowling..usually i play cricket with the bowlers chucking...There was a match organized between ICE and CS depts of "SRI SAI RAM ENGG COLG", hari of ICE dpt called me yesterday night 10pm and told me to come and play for his team... as there wasn't sufficient players for their team..The match was played wid full extras, i mean the wides and byes cost runs..The game stared by 8.30am with ICE winning the toss, and choosing to bat...the openers batted well. and i batted 2down the order.. the score was around 35 in 5 overs..the CS guys were so brilliant in bowling, but i got some runs with the bat as well, and i remained till the end by making my team scoring 98 in allotted 12 overs, the extras were the highest run getter...Any how we won the first match with some good bowling from Vinod.A and Dilip(RAILWAY GROUND FAME)bowling some overs too with Hari(not the madambakkm Hari), mahesh(ICE dpt), Bhinesh and we lost the second match, i felt really tired as i can't bat as i did it in the first match...any how a nice experience...today
