Former South African opener Gary Kirsten signed a two year contract to coach the team India....as an Indian i wish him all the success..let him at least do not suffer as the other coaches of Indian side suffered..He will be in the action from march 1 when India tours to the land of Kangaroos..while the second test between India and Pakistan ended in a draw...Eden Gardens witnessed some quality batting from both the sides, a double century by Jaffer..and centuries by Local boy Dada, and laxman remaining unbeaten...India posted a first innings total of 616/5 with sachin dravid and dhoni came up with 50's...Though Pakistan did not have a good start in their top batting order, at one stage Pakistan were 189/5..It was Misbah and Akmal who came up with some brilliant centuries to rescue their team..they reached a descent total of 456 with the help of Sami contributing as a tailender..India gaining a lead of 160 declared with 184/4 and setting a target of 345 to the Pakistanis...once again there was a slide in the top order batting..with misbah getting out for 6 runs cheaply...It was the duo pair Younis khan the captain scoring a century and mohammed yousuf playing a second fiddle..lead their team to a draw in the 2ND test..at one stage they were 78/4...In local words, Younis khan and mohammed yousuf India va sappa vittan...any way India have a lead of 1-0...
